This is an extremely contained short film — one practical location dressed as two units, three speaking roles, and a scripted three-day shoot — making it highly achievable at micro-budget. Key challenges: (1) The duplex set dressing must convincingly differentiate Maya's lived-in space from Eli's sparse, just-moved-in unit using the same physical location. (2) The painted-over wall access panel reveal must be practical and reversible — pre-score the panel seams and use soft-set paint to simulate the cracking effect without damaging the location.
