This is an exceptionally lean production — one scene, one interior location, one speaking actor, approximately two minutes of screen time. The primary creative challenge is sustaining emotional engagement with zero narrative event beyond small domestic gestures; casting and directing Mara is the single most critical production decision. The diegetic radio song must be cleared before the shoot day, as its volume and energy are scripted story beats.
