About the Project
This short film lives or dies on two casting decisions: the adult Marcus and his child counterpart. Finding a child actor who physically resembles the lead and can hold his own in emotionally charged two-hander scenes is the production's single greatest challenge — budget time and resources for a real casting process. The time-freeze sequences should be approached practically first (use wire rigs, water effects, slow shutter photography) before committing to VFX budgets.
