About the Project
After the passing of his father, Maurice returns home for the first time in over a decade. Back in James County, the fictional 10th bay area county, he’s confronted with the void his father’s death left in an already hurting community as well as the ramifications of his own departure, all while already being amidst his own personal search for purpose. Maurice had lost his belief in the people of the community to make things better.
